A free-to-use system of borrowing and returning clean, reusable items for trans-specific healthcare needs. It is a formalized version of what has always existed in community. Organized by and for Hamilton-area queer and trans folk. Grassroots and entirely volunteer.

The Trans Supply Library operates out of Sleepy Bones Tattoo at 477 King st. E, Hamilton. Access to the library is by appointment only (please do not just show up; you must contact us first!)

Certain donations can be dropped off with our friends at Coven located at 949 Main St. E Hamilton, ON; please check out our donate page for more info!

Any and all queer/trans folk (in the Hamilton, Ontario and surrounding areas) who require these supplies! Our aim is to help folk save money, while encouraging alternative, environmentally thoughtful options.

There are enough products floating around in community already; no one should have to purchase new ones, and Jeff Bezos doesn’t need any more money.

We will be expanding to offer supplies for different types of trans healthcare; until then, please be patient as this is a volunteer effort and growth takes time! You can always Contact Us with your requests or suggestions, and we’ll see what we can do.

We can also (within reason) deliver and pick up supplies!

After filling out a form or making a request, we will contact you to confirm and chat further.

Pick-up/drop-off will be coordinated, and instructions for cleaning and returning will be explained in more detail (if necessary).

While most items are to be borrowed and returned (library style!), some items are single-use or have no expectation of return. Items are all clearly marked.

You can contact us to ask a question at any time! We’re a chill grassroots org; don’t fret!

Yes please! Our goal is to inspire a network of Trans Supply Library (TSL) chapters -similar to Food Not Bombs- around as many communities as possible, that operate independently.
